Michael D'Esopo

Michael is Chief Executive Officer of Lippincott, based in the firm’s Boston office. Over more than 20 years at Lippincott—including more than a decade as Director of Brand Strategy—he has led a wide range of client relationships, delivering the firm’s full suite of capabilities across brand strategy and positioning, brand architecture, customer analytics, experience innovation, and brand activation.

He has led cross-functional teams tackling complex branding and marketing challenges for clients including Ameriprise, Goldman Sachs, Humane World for Animals, Ingersoll Rand, Marriott, Mass General Brigham, Principal Financial, Samsung, State Street, Vanguard, XPO, and more. Before joining Lippincott, Michael was a Principal in Oliver Wyman’s Strategic Capabilities Group, where he directed corporate and marketing strategy engagements in the technology and financial services sectors.

Michael speaks frequently for the ANA and The Conference Board and is often quoted in the business press. Outside of work, he is an avid runner and golfer. He holds a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
