a visual identity
With its roots in a partnership between technology leaders including IBM and Freescale Semiconductor, Power Architecture technology is used today in a wide array of applications, from automotive control and telematics to home gaming consoles and media centers.
Challenge
While Power Architecture enjoyed a strong following in the engineering and OEM community, brand awareness overall was low.
Actions
Lippincott was tapped to craft a brand system to link all of the various components of the Power Architecture platform–the instruction architecture, the Power.org community and all compatible products– through a common visual identity. In presenting an integrated offering that promises users the freedom to innovate, Power is best positioned to enter new markets and attract leading engineers.
The new identity includes a green “Power Band” symbol, reinforcing the continuity and transformation of the Power Architecture platform and the endless possibilities it offers for customers to innovate and deliver value to their business.
Power.org community members and the wider ecosystem will be able to leverage the new brand system to communicate consistently and build value for their Power Architecture technology-based products and solutions.
