Business Development Consultant/Associate New York

The Business Development Consultant/Associate will work as part of a team to enhance Lippincott’s new business efforts by providing valuable support across a rangeof areas. These include proposal writing and development, presentation development, business development outreach initiatives, cataloging and organizing business development materials and IC and coordinating proposal and presentation responses/teams.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, taking ownership of specific tasks and follow through to completion. They will be team oriented andstrive to deliver the highest standard of work at every opportunity.

Responsibilities include:

  •     Conducting research on prospects and key account companies
  •     Pulling case studies, past proposals, etc. as starting ground for proposal/presentation development
  •     Putting together first drafts of proposals and presentations
  •     Incorporating proposal and presentation edits from partners and senior partners
  •     Proofreading and quality control
  •     Researching prospect issues and developing and managing mailing lists
  •     Making follow-up calls for mailings
  •     Helping ensure marketing and new business outreach efforts stay on track
  •     Coordinating schedules for internal meetings
  •     Supporting marketing/PR brand strategy and design (as possible)
  •     Capturing and archiving IC, slides, case studies, etc. created for proposals and presentations

Desired Skills & Experience

  •     3-5 years relevant post-college work experience within the branding or design industries where a high of volume of propsals are produced
  •     Strong business writing skills
  •     Secondary research skills (Web and related sources)
  •     Ability to develop tailored and responsive presentations
  •     Experience in successfully handling project follow through and meeting deadlines
  •     Familiarity with PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office programs
  •     Ability to probe deeply on prospective client issues
  •     Structure/organize information and project tasks logically
  •     Deliver relevant, coherent and accurate end-product documents
  •     Manage simultaneous tasks effectively and deliver assignments on time, prioritizing individual initiatives

Brand Strategy Consultant New York


As a Brand Strategy team member, you will apply strategic, analytical and creative thinking to solve challenging brand issues for clients on a daily basis. You will have consulted across industries, throughout the world and on a range of brand topics (e.g., positioning, brand architecture, naming, customer experience and signature cues).

As a Consultant, you will be responsible for understanding client situations, gathering and synthesizing information (e.g., industry, company, competition) and making preliminary recommendations to your case team.  You will contribute substantially to case delivery in terms of thinking and project management.

We are looking to hire a senior interactive designer. The ideal team member will be an outstanding, self-motivated designer with strong interactive, motion graphics and rich media skills. The position requires collaboration with strategists, visual designers and programmers to develop user interfaces that reflect the positioning and image attributes of our clients. Retail Design Associate New York

We are seeking an experienced and uniquely talented retail designer with experience creatively combining brand strategy, design innovation and functionality resulting in successful branded and retail environments. The position requires high level project managing skills to ensure the successful execution of branded environments and retail projects.

Projects range from domestic to international, flagships to multi-unit roll-outs, retail to hospitality, high-end to mass market projects. The ideal candidate will be hands on, with excellent client interface and presentation skills. Good leadership, team communication and organizational skills a must. International experience a plus, as well as experience with both large and small projects. Minimum 5 years retail experience, some management experience, degree in architecture, interior design, industrial design or related field.

The designer will work with Fortune 500 firms developing their brand image and with the design team under the umbrella of strategic brand design. Candidates must have an understanding of consumer and marketing trends, and how to apply design to drive consumer behavior.

This position reports to the design director of branded environments and has daily interaction with the firm’s design principles in the creation of projects.
