Retail Design Associate
Lippincott, a leading brand strategy and design firm, is seeking an experienced and uniquely talented retail designer with experience creatively combining brand strategy, design innovation and functionality resulting in successful branded and retail environments. The position requires high level project managing skills to ensure the successful execution of branded environments and retail projects.
Projects range from domestic to international, flagships to multi-unit roll-outs, retail to hospitality, high-end to mass market projects. The ideal candidate will be hands on, with excellent client interface and presentation skills. Good leadership, team communication and organizational skills a must. International experience a plus, as well as experience with both large and small projects. Minimum 5 years retail experience, some management experience, degree in architecture, interior design, industrial design or related field.
The designer will work with Fortune 500 firms developing their brand image and with the design team under the umbrella of strategic brand design. Candidates must have an understanding of consumer and marketing trends, and how to apply design to drive consumer behavior.
This position reports to the design director of branded environments and has daily interaction with the firm’s design principles in the creation of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Adept in the conceptual process, able to quickly generate multiple initial concepts and develop them into effective design solutions.
- Collaborative process with good communication skills and works well in interdisciplinary environment.
- Project management experience on multiple projects and deadlines.
- Extensive knowledge of environmental branding.
- Energetic attitude and team player.
- Effective presentation and people skills.
- Direct junior staff in all project efforts and interact with senior management.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and an understanding of architectural scale. 3D modeling skills a plus

Retail Designer
We are looking for an outstanding retail designer for a junior level position. The ideal candidate must be talented with both a strong design and brand sense. Candidates must be highly motivated, self-disciplined, and eager to contribute to projects. Excellent communication and presentation skills a plus. Minimum 2 years design experience preferred with degree in architecture, interior design, industrial design or related field.
This position has daily interaction with the firm’s design principles in the creation of projects, requires working flexible hours in order to accommodate client’s schedules. Travel required for client meetings and presentations.

Senior Interactive Designer (New York)
Lippincott, a leading identity and brand consultant, seeks a Senior Interactive Designer. The ideal team member will be an outstanding, self-motivated designer with strong interactive, motion graphics and rich media skills. The position requires collaboration with strategists, visual designers and programmers to develop user interfaces that reflect the positioning and image attributes of our clients. This opportunity includes working on multiple projects and providing design and strategic insight across a range of related projects and touchpoints.
The qualified candidate should have 5-8 years of experience creating interactive products, identifying and defining the dynamic and functional aspects of an online user experience, applying user-centered design principles, presenting to clients, and documenting design guidelines. We require the candidate to have expert and thorough understanding of the Web development and implementation cycle.
